Suicide Prevention Month reminds us of the importance of checking in with friends, family, and community members who may be struggling. We invite you to join us at the upcoming events and trainings listed below as we work together to raise awareness and strengthen our community.


📢In recognition of National Suicide Prevention Month this September, Amador County Behavioral Health will attend the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, September 9th at 9:00 a.m. for the official recognition of Suicide Prevention Month and World Suicide Prevention Day. We invite you to join us in accepting the proclamation. 


📆SPEAKER EVENT | A Life Reclaimed: Ken Baldwin on Hope, Healing, and Suicide Prevention


We invite community members to join us for this special event featuring guest speaker Ken Baldwin, who will share his powerful journey of survival, recovery, and resilience. Ken’s story offers inspiration, practical tools for managing difficult days, and a reminder that hope and healing are always possible.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Training


QPR is a one-hour training designed to help community members recognize the warning signs of suicide, talk with someone in crisis, and connect them to professional help.
