Energy

Our Home Energy Program provides low-income residents of Calaveras County by assisting with PGE and propane bills, water & wastewater bills and energy saving home improvements that may include weather stripping, insulation and appliances, as well as education on reducing energy costs and budget counseling.

Income Guidelines

 

MONTHLY HOUSEHOLD INCOME CAN NOT EXCEED:

  • One client household up to $2,700.17

  • Two client household up to $3,531.00

  • Three client household  up to $4,361.83

  • Four client household up to $5,192.75

  • Five client household up to $6,023.59

  • Six client household up to $6,854.43

  • Seven client household up to $7,010.21

Eligibility Requirements for all Energy Programs

Residents must submit a completed application and other documentation to apply for benefits. Note that:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of the United States

  • Applicant must be a resident of the County in which they are applying for service. 

  • Renters must have permission of the homeowner for Energy Efficiency improvements.

To apply for assistance for any of our Energy programs, contact us first so that we can determine your eligibility and get an application to you.

 

Completed applications can be returned by mail, fax or drop off. Appointments are available 9:00am - Noon, Monday-Thursday in Jackson for Calaveras residents. 

To expedite service, please have all requested items with you and your application completed.
