Opportunities to Support Your Community

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a member of the Amador Tuolumne Community Action Agency Board of Directors. If you have not yet read the ATCAA Board Representation Process, you can access it here

 

The Board meets minimally six times per year on the 2nd Friday of even months at 10:30 am. You can learn more information about our Board hereWe encourage you to peruse our website and reach out if you have additional questions. Our current Board members, Executive Director and staff would be happy to share.

The Board of Directors provide insight into community problem solving based on their knowledge and understanding of both the community and the sector they represent. Directors play an important role in helping people change their lives, impacting families and the community at large. 

 

Acting as part of the ATCAA Board, a Board member helps to provide strategic direction and to oversee the management of Amador Tuolumne Community Action Agency. They are responsive to community designated needs and participate in planning programmatic strategies as a part of the Community Action Plan. Board members attend and actively participate in ATCAA Board meetings; serve on and actively participate on Board committees; lead or assist with special projects; attend ATCAA training events; and act as an ambassador for ATCAA to the Community.

ATCAA Mission Statement

  • To help individuals in Amador and Tuolumne Counties toward self-sufficiency.

  • To support local residents in becoming involved and contributing members of our community.

  • To promote family and other supportive environments so that children, youth, and elders can achieve their maximum potential.

  • To mentor children, families, and individuals toward achievement of their maximum potential.

  • To form partnerships and coalitions within the community to meet these needs.


All Board candidates/nominees shall be of legal voting age and submit an initial application. Upon receipt of this application, the Executive Director or Board Secretary will contact you regarding next steps.

All applications will be reviewed for upcoming vacancies and will be maintained for future consideration.
