Severe Weather Emergency and Transportation Services (SWEATS)

Activated August 21 - 27

For Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne County residents

Due to recent extreme weather that has occurred in California, the Department of Community Services and Development (CSD) has activated SWEATS. This program serves Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne County residents.

This program is effective Monday, August 21st through Sunday, August 27th. Due to excess heat during this time period, Amador Tuolumne Community Action Agency (ATCAA) may provide:
  • utility assistance
  • temporary housing
  • transportation services
  • temporary cooling and power appliances
  • ​other personal tangible items
These services require clients to qualify for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) under the following income guidelines:


Monthly Household Income Not To Exceed:

  • One client household up to $2,700.17

  • Two client household up to $3,531.00

  • Three client household  up to $4,361.83

  • Four client household up to $5,192.75

  • Five client household up to $6,023.59

  • Six client household up to $6,854.43

  • Seven client household up to $7,010.21
